Do you do fence repairs?

Not at the moment. Our crews are booked on new installs and full replacements, so repair-only jobs are on hold until that clears. It’s a scheduling reality rather than a policy we’re proud of, and we’d rather say it on this page than leave your message sitting for a week before we pass. If your fence is far enough along that replacing it makes sense, that we can quote, and the estimate is free.

How do I know if my fence is worth repairing?

Go push on the posts. If one or two move and the rest hold firm, you have a repair, and it’ll cost a fraction of a replacement. If most of them give, or a screwdriver tip sinks into the wood in several places, the fence is telling you it aged out all at once and the repairs will keep coming. That’s the point where replacing costs less across the next five years than patching does.

A tree limb came down on my fence. Is that a repair or a replacement?

Depends on what the rest of the fence looks like. Storm damage to an otherwise young, solid fence is a repair, and it’s worth calling your homeowner’s insurance before you call any contractor, since that kind of damage is often covered. Storm damage to a fence that was already leaning is usually the last straw rather than the cause. The second case is what we’re quoting right now.

Can you replace just the damaged section?

We can, and sometimes it’s the right call — one run along a property line, or a stretch a tree came through. Worth knowing before you decide: new wood next to weathered wood won’t match for a couple of seasons, and it never fully catches up. If that’s going to bother you every time you look at it, replacing the whole run is the cleaner outcome.
